She pulls away, reaching for a hand to lead him to the rock with the pack of clothes and food. "He is more intuitive than some believe. Give him a chance to learn what you will and will not allow.

"...Is Uncle Maedhros doing better now?"

"I certainly hope so! I did not raise a daughter who would pick an idiot." He tweaks her nose and hums curiously at the pack of clothes.

"Slowly. Father is with him now, and Fingon has told him he won't leave without him. What he will not do for himself, he will do for others. Where I go, the others will follow."

She wrinkles her nose just for that but only nudges him before pulling out suitable tunic, trousers, and robes for a prince. She might not have his skill of embroidery, but she is good enough. He'll likely notice her handiwork on every piece she hands him.

"Then they will join us soon." And hopefully not cause a war in Aman.

"Your work." He nods approvingly, eyeing the stitches. "Very fine. You've improved."

He moves to get dressed quickly, if still a little clumsy in this new body.

"That is my hope, yes."

Well, Feanor has learnt. Probably. Mostly!

Canien smiles quickly at the praise. "Practice." Lots and lots of practice.

She helps him dress, remembering being told this sort of clumsiness is to be expected but fades in time.

"I will welcome anyone you trust me with." Even now, she trusts her father's cautious nature and protective tendencies when it comes to his brothers.

"You did well." He approves fondly, accepting her help with good grace.

"Mm. We spoke in the Halls. I think it should be safe enough, when they are released, for you to meet them all."

They are family. It is easier to accept certain things from family they wouldn't accept from others. "I am glad they please you." Because he's important to her, and seeing him dressed well matters.

"With you beside me, I suspect." So that her dear papa could step in and stare them into behaving. Sound about right? "I am glad they seem to be doing better."

He smiles at her, gentling.

"You always please me, my jewel."

He grins at that. "Absolutely. I know my brothers well enough not to leave them alone with you. Although none of them are likely to forget and accidentaly leave you in the forest alone or drop you on your head."
